We are incredibly honored to be welcoming a group of Women back to Sky Meadow retreat to honor the fall equinox and celebrate the turning of the wheel for Mabon. This retreat will serve as our fourth gathering at Sky Meadow, we truly love it here.

For centuries, Women’s wisdom has been stolen, stifled, and buried. It is our divine birthright to unearth it.” - Hera Morgan

There is something powerful and very magical that happens when Women gather. There is a feeling that is foreign yet familiar. It is a deep remembering and a longing to return. It is healing all on it’s own.

This fall, we hope you’ll consider gathering with us. Sit in sacred ceremony and circle. Tend to the fire of your heart. Fill your cup and eat nourishing farm to table communal meals, and immerse yourself in nature. This retreat is being held the weekend just before Mabon, also known as the Fall Equinox and this will represent the central theme that will anchor our time together. We will be celebrating and honoring the Wheel of the Year. Our time will be oriented toward gratitude for all we have cultivated thus far in 2025 and the inner voyage we will be embarking on for the final months of the year.

Immersed in nature, together, we will honor the change of season – the turning of the wheel.

We will explore stories, myths, archetypes, Goddesses, plants and medicines of this special time of year. We will sit in circle, participate in ceremony, honor the land and break bread together. We will return to our roots as Women.

If the thought of gathering with Women feels scary, we want you to know that we truly understand. Many of us have a deep wound and many scars left from other Women. We too have been there and can relate. The world works overtime to separate and isolate us because they are terrified of our collective power. That’s why we say it’s ‘foreign, yet familiar.’ It may not be what we are used to in this modern world, but it is where we all came from and where we shall return. In community with other Women, we heal. If you are interested in coming, and are nervous to come alone, we want you to know that you will be held and supported. Some of the most incredible transformations and experiences have happened to women who had the courage to show up solo. It takes courage, but the reward is worth it.

Gathering together is how we reclaim our power.

In a world where we have been taught to compete against each other, gathering in this way is like a balm to those wounds. Very often, we arrive with our armor up, and as we exit the first circle together, we feel a softness begin to take shape. An opening. A deep exhale. An invitation to show up and be vulnerable.

When you strip it all down to the bare bones, when you take away the candles and crystals. When you forgo the sharing circles and ceremony – all of which we love by the way, and take great care to create – but when you strip it all down, the real magic lives in the Women who show up.

It’s the simplicity and the freedom to be amongst each other. To commune the way it used to be; the way it was in the beginning. Gathering together is our origin story. It’s time to reclaim that story and rebuild our future together.

“There was no profound miracle but instead profound feelings to open and feel and love and accept and nourish. I felt supported. I can’t begin to tell you how much that feeling of support meant to me. I felt heard, without having to speak. I felt like my soul was being nourished and loved and cherished. You saw in me what I have been struggling to see for myself.”

Your Guides

Hera Morgan and Angie Andrews have been guiding Women in sacred circles and retreats for the past eight years. Our ability to create beautiful containers and hold space for Women is our greatest strength. We are quite clear that we are not in this to make money, both of us have full-time jobs. We do this because we are called to this work. We do this because we know how important and how needed it is. We do this to carve out space for Women to exist free of judgement, free of expectations, free of fear.

From our perspective, as space holders, we bear witness time and again to the unfurling that happens when Women gather. We graciously get to be a part of helping Women to remember who they were before everyone told them who to be. We are not here to teach or preach; we are not here to tell you anything. We are here to gather you. To connect you with the wisdom of the land, to open space for you to get quiet enough to hear the messages from your soul. We create the container, but YOU are the magic.

There is always a special energy that arises from the group of women who show up. The frequency that is created is not something that can be replicated or duplicated. Together, we share a special connection that will only exist in that moment in time. The collective energy and frequency that is created amongst the group is our most favorite part of the weekend.

Lastly, it’s important for us to clarify our values. We believe in sisterhood and we inherently believe in a woman’s right to choose what to do with her body. We believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion. These are strange and challenging times where people in power are attempting to erase, harm, and marginalize people of color, women, and the LGBTQIA+ community. As retreat leaders, we are responsible for creating a safe and sacred container and so we want to make clear that only individuals who are dedicated to inclusion, belonging and community building are welcome to attend.

Angie and Hera

Our time together will include: sacred sharing circles, ritual, ceremony, meditation journeys, and time immersed in nature.

If you’ve made it this far, I want you to know that we would love to have you join us to celebrate Mabon and to experience a magical weekend steeped in nature and sisterhood. No matter where you find yourself on this journey through life, all parts of you are welcome at our circle. We hope to see you at Sky Meadow! Please reach out with any questions.

Lots of love from Hera & Angie
